Dr. Gail Hutnick began practicing general dentistry in 1992 and pediatric dentistry in 2000. She graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery and completed her general practice residency at Goldwater Memorial Hospital in 1993.

With a desire to specialize in treating children, Dr. Hutnick later pursued a second residency in pediatric dentistry at Interfaith Medical Center and then joined Dental Health Associates.

After completing a fellowship, she pursued specialty training in periodontics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Beer is an active member of the Community Benevolence Society at the Hebrew Institute of White Plains and the Young Israel of White Plains, where she is on numerous charity and fundraising committees.

Dr. Samina Shakir graduated from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. She completed a 7-year liberal arts/dental education program, receiving both her undergraduate and DMD at the same time. Dr. Shakir completed her general practice residency at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, where she also served as chief resident.

Dr. Shakir enjoys bowling, tennis, scuba diving, traveling and playing the flute. She is a volunteer in community service and an active member in several professional organizations.
